Privacy Policy
Effective October 6, 2026
This policy explains what information llog collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. “llog”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean XVYZ LLC, an Oregon limited liability company, which operates llog at llog.app and in the llog apps for iOS and Android. If you have questions, email privacy@llog.app.
1. Information we collect
Account information
- Your email address or phone number, which you use to sign in.
- If you sign in with Apple or Google, the account identifier and email address they share with us. If you use Apple’s “Hide My Email”, we receive the relay address Apple gives us, not your real address.
- Your profile name and avatar.
Content you create
- Logs, records, notes, plans, tasks, tags, templates, comments, reactions and other content you add to llog.
- Photos, videos, audio recordings and other files you upload.
- Messages you exchange with the llog assistant, and things it remembers about you to be more helpful, which you can review and change.
- Content shared with you by other members of your teams.
Team and sharing information
- The teams and logs you belong to, your role in them, and invitations you send or accept.
Usage and device information
- Records of the features you use and how much (for example, the number of AI requests), which we use to enforce plan limits and keep the service running.
- Push notification tokens for the devices and browsers where you turn on notifications.
- Technical information our hosting providers log automatically, such as IP address, browser or device type, and timestamps, used for security and troubleshooting.
Payment information
- If you subscribe, our payment provider collects your payment details. We receive your subscription status and billing email, never your full card number.
Messages you send to llog
- Replies to llog emails and text messages, which we turn into content in your account (for example, a comment on a record) when you send them.
We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics, and we do not collect your precise location.
2. How we use information
- To provide llog: storing and syncing your content, showing it to the people you share it with, and sending the notifications you choose.
- To sign you in and keep your account secure, including sending sign-in codes by email or text message.
- To run the AI features you use, such as transcription, insights, the assistant, voice conversations, music recognition and web search.
- To process payments and manage your plan.
- To answer your questions and send important notices about your account or these policies.
- To prevent abuse, fraud and security problems, and to comply with the law.
We do not sell your personal information, share it for targeted advertising, or use your content to train AI models.
3. Who we share information with
We share information only as described here.
People you choose. Content in a team or log is visible to the members you invite, according to their role.
Apps you connect. If you connect llog to another AI app (for example through MCP), that app can read and change your llog content as you authorize. Its handling of your data is governed by its own policies.
Service providers. We use these providers to run llog. They process information on our behalf and only to provide their services:
- Convex: database and backend hosting.
- Cloudflare: web hosting, file, image and video storage, and email sending and receiving.
- OpenAI: speech transcription and voice conversations.
- OpenRouter, and the AI model providers it routes requests to: insights, the assistant and web search.
- AudD: recognizing music in audio you upload.
- Telnyx: sending and receiving text messages.
- Apple and Google: sign-in, when you choose it, and delivery of push notifications.
- Polar: subscription billing and payments.
When you use an AI feature, the content involved (for example, a recording to transcribe, or the records an insight covers) is sent to the provider that performs it.
Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that the law requires it, or that it is needed to protect the rights, property or safety of llog, our users or others.
Business transfers. If llog is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of it. We will tell you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
4. Text messages
If you give us your phone number, we text you 2FA sign-in codes, and, if you turn them on, account notifications about your logs. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving messages and HELP for help.
We do not share your phone number or your consent to receive text messages with anyone for their marketing. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties, except the providers who deliver the messages for us.
5. How long we keep information
We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. When you delete content, we remove it from llog, and copies are removed from our systems and backups within a reasonable period. Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes. We may keep limited records longer when needed for security, to resolve disputes, or to meet legal and tax obligations.
6. Your choices and rights
- You can view, edit and delete your content in llog at any time.
- You can turn notifications on or off in Settings.
- To delete your account, or to request a copy of your information, email privacy@llog.app from the address on your account. We will verify the request and respond within 30 days.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email privacy@llog.app. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your information to perform our contract with you (providing llog), for our legitimate interests (keeping llog secure and improving it), to comply with legal obligations, and with your consent where we ask for it (for example, text message notifications).
7. Security
We protect your information with encryption in transit, access controls and providers with strong security practices. No service is perfectly secure, so please keep access to your email, phone and devices protected.
8. International transfers
We and our providers may process your information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses to protect it.
9. Children
llog is not directed to children under 13, or under 16 where local law sets that age, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, email privacy@llog.app and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
